What will you actually do at Bedal?
As a Finance Lead you are responsible for the financial management, accounting, bank relations and forecasting. You ensure the robust, correct and qualitative aspects of the financials of the company and work alongside management for a close follow up of the financial performance, the forecasting and reporting towards the board of directors.
Your responsibilities
You safeguard and monitor the financial performance of the company.
You prepare the monthly closing and after review you provide the inputs to the external accountant.
You develop the international structure of the company as it grows, including the setup of subsidiaries.
You work in close collaboration with management in developing the cost accounting and cost controlling function of the company, including the monitoring of cost allocations and the profitability per product line. Your objective will be to monitor and optimize the gross margins of the different product lines.
You develop dashboards for the monthly and quarterly reporting. You develop forecasts of the sales pipeline and manufacturing schedule.
You work on projects for the identification of potential improvements in the cost structure. You monitor and manage the cash management of the company.
You are responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable and timely payments of suppliers.
You develop the inputs for the financial reporting to the board of directors, including P&L statements, order intake, sales and cash projections.
You are responsible for the bank relations.
You assist management in the preparation of the annual budget
Who are we looking for?
You have a university degree, preferably in finance or business, and a minimum of 3 years experience in a finance role (ideally in a controlling or audit function).
The company is growing quickly, and you have the ambition to grow in the organization and take up more responsibilities in a finance function.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening) and interpersonal skills. Ability to advise, persuade and negotiate with colleagues in a supportive and encouraging fashion.
High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with strong work ethic.
You work in a diligent and structured way.
Hands-on profile, ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
You’re willing to travel occasionally (destinations include EU, US and South America).
